Altai Stuff

Altai slides

In July August 2010 I visited Mongolia doing two trips. The first was a tour ending up in the Gobi desert and then I had a week in a Ger in the Gun Galuut Nature Reserve followed by a trek across the Altai Mountains in western Mongolia.

This page has links to photos, video and renderings of the areas visited.

The picture above is a semi panorama that can be panned and zoomed. The button on the right of the toolbar is for a full screen view where you can zoom in and out with the mouse wheel or you can use the buttons.

The slide shows are flash and have an auto hiding tool bar where the button on the right gives the full screen view. They auto start and have a music track.

The videos are in a similar format to the slide shows but are short videos of the trips.

Below the mountain button takes you to the renderings of the trek showing video of the trail and panoramas from the camps.

Below that is a Google map of the area with our camps and track marked. As with all Google maps you can zoom in for more detail, or out to get a better view of where it is.
