Nanda Devi photo Comparisons Page 1

These pictures are all rollovers which show the CG version when you mouse over the original photo. The renderings were done with World Construction Set 6 (WCS). The terrain is derived from 90 meter DEM's, again patched by Jonathan de ferranti.(see here for details)They are overlaid with WCS generated ecosystems to enhance realism.

This photo was taken from just south of Milam. The central peak is Shalla Dhura 5287m, and to its right is Shalang Dhura 5678m. The Gori Ganga flows in the foreground.

Further south along the track looking west is Nanda Devi East (7434m) on the left. To its right is the main peak of Nanda Devi (7816m) peaking over the main ridge surrounding the Nanda Devi Sanctury.
