Syange Panorama

This is a cubic panorama generated at the fourth camp at Syange further up the Marsyangdi Khola. The initial view is looking upstream to our next camp, where we were to go the next day. Looking behind you can see our last camp. To the north are the peaks of Manaslu and NW is the Annapurna range.

All these panoramas were rendered in World Construction set 6 with a landsat overlay. The data is 90m DEMS patched by Jonathan de Ferranti (see "Rendered Hills" page).Use the mouse to swing the camera around and <Shift> and <Ctrl> to zoom in and out. The buttons along the bottom allow for these actions as well as auto rotate and the button to the right will give a very good full screen view, in this mode use the buttons for zooming. IE does not seem to handel this as well as Firefox3. The compass in the top right also shows the field of view. The output was generated with Pano2VR from Gardengnomesoftware.
