Here we have links to several animations, flash panoramas, photo comparisons and photos taken round the Huayhuash Circuit in Peru. This section is slightly different from the others on this site. The generated views are not made with Landsat overlays but, like the Paine section, use World Construction Set environments to show grass, lakes, rivers and snow. The terrain is still derived from DEM's patched by Jonathan de Ferranti so is as accurate as the 90m sampling will allow. The panoramas are cubic so you can pan up and down as far as you like. these are flash files rather than QTVR.

The link to the left takes you to the photo section which also has maps showing the area. That to the right goes to photo comparisons where you can view the difference between the photos and the rendered equivalent.

The arrows on the map below link to panoramas at each of the camp sites on the Circuit. These panoramas are flash and should display full size in your browser window. Click in the view and pan around or use <shift> and <ctrl> keys to zoom in and out. They are all linked to the adjacent camps by the "next" and "back" buttons. Below this map are three animations. The orange line is the trail and is just an estimate of the path as I did not have a GPS.
